The Blessing Behind Poverty – A 4-Year-Old’s Battle Against Brain Cancer Amid Economic Hardship

At just 4 years old, Septa was diagnosed with brain cancer that left her blind, partially paralyzed, and speechless. Coming from a poor family in Lampung, surgery or chemotherapy was beyond reach. Through the kindness of Dr. Warsito, she received a free ECCT helmet—the only treatment available to her.

The beginning was painful; even wearing the helmet for 5 minutes was a struggle. Yet, with her mother’s endless patience and love, Septa persevered. Gradually, her sight returned, her hearing improved, and for the first time, she spoke the word “Mak.” Over the years, she learned to walk again and grew stronger, relying solely on ECCT therapy.

Now, more than 12 years later, Septa lives free of pain and continues her journey with courage and joy.

Breast Cancer Recurrence After Surgery and Chemotherapy Leads to Double Mastectomy

In 2013, Mrs. Sonti underwent surgery to remove her right breast after being diagnosed with cancer, followed by chemotherapy. But just months later, in early 2014, a new lump appeared in her left breast. Unwilling to endure chemotherapy again, she traveled from Mandailing Natal to Tangerang to begin ECCT therapy.

For over a year, her condition remained stable—no significant change, but also no spread to other organs. She eventually decided to undergo surgery again, which confirmed Invasive Breast Carcinoma Grade 1. Afterward, she relied solely on ECCT, rejecting chemotherapy. Her wounds healed quickly, and follow-up tests showed no recurrence.

More than 10 years have now passed since she stopped chemotherapy. Mrs. Sonti remains healthy, active, and free from cancer.

9-Month-Old with a Brain Tumor Overcomes Obstacles, Recovers Over 10 Years, and Attends School Like Any Other Child

At 9 months old, Taqi was diagnosed with a choroid plexus tumor in the brain’s nerve center, causing hydrocephalus that left him unable to move or even lift his head. Two surgeries to drain fluid and remove part of the tumor were followed by plans for radiation, but his parents chose another path—ECCT therapy by Dr. Warsito.

After starting ECCT, Taqi’s condition improved rapidly. He could lift his head, sit up, and later stand and walk. Year after year, CT scans showed the tumor shrinking and brain fluid levels normalizing. His crossed eyes and weak limbs also gradually returned to normal.

Now, more than 10 years later, Taqi has grown into an active teenager who goes to school, plays with friends, and lives a healthy, joyful life.
