10 Years Living in Harmony with Lymph Node Cancer
In 2012, Mang Iwan was diagnosed with lymphoma in his right shoulder that had spread to his chest and pressed against his right lung. After exhausting both medical and alternative treatments, his condition worsened, forcing him to quit his job and close his small workshop. Doctors predicted he wouldn’t survive more than a year. In early 2016, desperate for hope, his doctor recommended ECCT.
Barely able to sit during the trip from Tasikmalaya to Tangerang, Mang Iwan started using the device—and within two weeks, he could finally sleep again after six sleepless months. A month later, he returned to work in his workshop, bringing immense joy to his family.
Ten years after his diagnosis, Mang Iwan remains active and healthy. Though a small lump remains on his shoulder, it is soft and harmless. His hair, once white, has turned black again, and his nephew even jokes, “Mamang looks more handsome now.” May Mang Iwan continue to stay healthy and even more handsome.
