Lung Cancer Patient Given a Burial Choice, Now Healthy 10 Years Later

In July 2013, Mr. Ichwan was hospitalized with severe shortness of breath and back pain. Tests revealed advanced lung cancer attached to his rib and fluid buildup in his right lung, leaving him struggling to breathe. Doctors had given up hope and advised his family to prepare for his passing.

Desperate, his family turned to ECCT. Within weeks of using the device, his breathing improved, and the preparations for his “return home” were canceled. After one month, the fluid in his lung disappeared, and within three months, the tumor mass had deflated, leaving only scar tissue.

Mr. Ichwan used ECCT for a year before stopping, feeling fully recovered. A decade later, his child returned to C-Care and shared that Mr. Ichwan was still healthy, happily remarried, and living well—proof of a recovery once thought impossible.

Mr. Ichwan was hospitalized due to severe shortness of breath accompanied by pain in his back.

A chest X-ray suggested there was a mass in his lungs. Further examination with a CT scan confirmed he was diagnosed with lung cancer attached to the rib in his back, causing him pain and accompanied by fluid in his right lung, which made his breathing difficult.

This occurred 10 years ago, in July 2013. There wasn’t much that doctors could do for his cancer. His condition weakened as the pain and shortness of breath intensified.

The hospital staff had informed the family to prepare for the worst and to start making arrangements for his burial in Jakarta or his hometown, Bumiayu, West Java.

With no hope left, the family sought alternative treatments and eventually discovered ECCT.

Mr. Ichwan’s hope was revived once he began using ECCT. His breathing gradually improved in line with using the device. The preparations for “returning home” to Bumiayu were canceled.

After a month of using the device, the fluid in his lung disappeared, and the tumor mass “deflated.” Three months of using the device left him with only a “scar” that did not change or grow anymore.

Mr. Ichwan used the ECCT device regularly for about a year. After that, he stopped because he felt healed. News about him faded after that, and there was no update on whether he had “returned home” to Bumiayu.

Ten years later, Mr. Ichwan’s child came for a consultation because they had also been diagnosed with cancer. His wife had long passed away due to breast cancer. She never got to use the ECCT device like Mr. Ichwan because no one could take her to C-Care; they had forgotten the way.

His child shared that Mr. Ichwan was doing well and had remarried, living happily with his new wife. Wishing continued health and happiness for Mr. Ichwan (WS).
